Podcasting has been around for a few years, but it really seems to be taking off lately. I’ve been getting into them the last few months and have found them to be an excellent way to keep up on news and general information. And by using subscriptions, I’m being fed new programs whenever they’re added, rather than having to hunt them down. I can listen to a podcast on the go or at work, and not have to worry about remembering the last place I put the newspaper.
There’s a wide range of topics out there…technology, politics, sex, sports, art, business, religion…you name it and someone’s bound to have podcasted it. I’ve been entertained and have learned a lot through podcasts lately, but find that it can sometimes be overwhelming trying to figure out which ones to listen to first.
A new section called Podcasts has been launched to help gather and organize the various bird and nature podcasting programs I’ve run across. I’ll be adding new feeds as I find them, and updating current ones. If you find any you’d like to share, send an email with the details so I can add it. If you’re new to podcasting, there’s a section to help get you started. Please feel free to email us with any questions, comments, or suggestions. Enjoy!
